Born: May 7th, 1970. Saved: June, 1985. Married: Becky, December 1989. Children: Bethany, Josephine, Katie (adopted daughter in the Lord). Present Position: Senior Pastor, Maple City Baptist Church (Monmouth Illinois), 1994. Education: Kansas City Baptist Temple Shepherd School of ministry, 1993. Ordained at KCBT, 1993. Ministry Profile: I love to preach and apply God’s book to all of life. As a Husband, Father, Friend, and speaker, I love to influence people by bringing passion and freshness to the average and mundane. The Maple City Baptist Church is the place where I minister to the flock of about 150 (we started with 8). We (MCBC) love worship, expositional teaching, practical preaching, prayer, counseling, evangelism, discipleship. I am currently preparing to launch our Bible Institute (Sept. ’08) for the training of leaders. I have a heart to send out career missionaries and to plant churches that bring relevance to up and coming generations.

Beau Green

Assistant Pastor
Beau & his family moved to Monmouth April of ’06. He received Christ when he was six-years-old; however, it was not until he was discipled that he begun to understand who he was in Christ. Under Shane Crawford’s youth ministry, Ryan Blackstock invested several years in Beau showing him what it truly meant to have a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus. In August of 2003 he married Carrie; two years later their daughter Becca Grace arrived, and early summer of ’08 the Lord blessed them with their second daughter, Moriah Faith. Having been involved in ministry at the Kansas City Baptist Temple, along with graduating Shepherd School in 2003, Beau knew God was calling him & his family to serve in a different region - Monmouth, IL. Beau’s life verse is II Corinthians 9:15: Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
